Policies

  • All of my booking requests go through my booking form found on my instagram/facebook page when my books are open. I try my best to respond to dm’s but its not an efficient form of communication for booking and things can easily be lost / not seen.

  • I require a deposit to hold your appointment date and start drawing / hold your predrawn design. The deposit is the only thing that secures your appointment and puts you in my calendar. It’s a $50/$100 (depends on size of your tattoo) non-refundable deposit that goes towards the final cost of the tattoo. You can still reschedule for emergency situations or with enough notice! In some cases you may lose your depsoit and have to put down a new one if you have rescheduled too many times or no call-no show, etc.

  • Payment is due at the end of your appointment! Cash is preferred and has no extra fees — I can take cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, & AmEx) with a 2.5% processing fee. I no longer accept payment through paypal / venmo, those are only for deposits.

  • I reserve 30 minutes in each appointment time for us to review the design together and make any small potential changes. I ask lots of questions during the booking process to get the best understanding of your vision, most times no/only small changes are needed because of that. If the worst case scenario happens and you hate the design or there was a miscommunication and more time is needed to draw we may have to reschedule your tattoo for another date and I’ll go back to the drawing board. I want to make sure you are completely happy with the design before it goes on your body!

  • I do not send out designs before the date of your appointment to protect my work and because I find that its much easier for us to review designs together face to face. If revisions are needed it gets complicated and time consuming messaging back and forth.

  • If not seeing your design is very anxiety provoking for you email me to ask about your options. Sometimes I am very busy and won’t have the design ready until the day of, but if time allows I could possibly be available the day before your appointment for a short virtual consult to review the design / rough sketch.

  • I do not copy exact designs from the internet. Inspiration / reference photos are great to send but I am a different artist and need some creative freedom to feel good about my work and not plagiarize another artist’s work.

  • Please ask before bringing a guest to your appointment. The studio is a small space and can easily get overcrowded, I always try to accommodate guests but just ask first so I can check the other artist’s schedule. There is a lobby area where guests are welcome to wait for you if there isnt space in the studio :)

  • I charge hourly and flat rates depending on the situation. During scheduling / emailing I will let you know if we are doing hourly or a flat rate. Typically for large ongoing tattoos, like sleeves, I will charge hourly because it is hard to gauge a flat rate for large projects with multiple sessions. Other than that I am switching over to a flat rate so neither of us have the pressure of feeling like we are on a timer. When scheduling I will give an approximate cost estimate of the flat rate. The day of your tattoo when the final design and size has been decided I will give you the final price before we start tattooing.

  • My minimum rate is $160.

Preparing For Your Appointment

  • Be sure to get a good nights rest (especially for larger appointments) and take it easy on the alcohol the night before. Being hungover during your tattoo appointment does not feel good!

  • Make sure to eat a full meal at least 1 hour before your appointment to help keep your blood sugar up and prevent lightheadedness. That means you need more than just a granola bar lol

  • Feel free to bring any snacks, water, or a sugary drink with you if you’re worried about your blood sugar dropping.

  • I do have a tv and music in the studio to help keep you entertained during your appointment and I’m happy to chat with you too if talking helps keep you comfortable. Feel free to bring your own headphones or device to watch shows if you prefer or books / work as long as your tattoo position permits.

  • Please let me know if you prefer having a silent session — there is no pressure to socialize or fill the silence if you just want to relax, its your appointment and your comfort is my priority.

  • I am happy to accommodate you as much as possible — if you have specific requests please let me know and I will do what I can.
